01 — The idea
The pocket is on the outside
A 37 cm bag is a place things go to be lost. A flapped pocket across the front changes that — a phone, a card, a key, a pass all live where you can reach them without putting the bag down and digging through it.
02 — Design
Wings, a flap and a pebbled grain
The sides fold outwards into wings that sit clear of the body, which is why the bag is 37 cm across the base and much narrower at the opening. Ties at each end draw those wings in when the bag is carrying little.
The grain is deliberately pebbled. Smooth black shows every scuff and fingerprint; a textured surface breaks up the light and hides the marks a bag this size will pick up against a coat and a chair.
The hardware is silver and there is very little of it: a small stud on the pocket flap and the fittings at the tie ends. The back panel is left completely plain.

Before you order
Can it be worn crossbody?
No. The maker lists the handles as undetachable and unadjustable, at a fixed 20 cm drop, and no separate strap is supplied. This is a hand and shoulder bag.
How much does it hold?
A good deal more than the 16 cm height suggests, because it is 37 cm wide and 12 cm deep: a phone, a wallet, sunglasses, keys and a compact sit side by side rather than stacked. The maker confirms an iPhone 15 Pro Max fits.
Do the side ties have to stay done up?
No. Loosen them and the wings open out to the full width; draw them in and the bag narrows to a neater outline. It is the same bag either way.
Is this real leather?
