01 — The idea
A square with every corner rounded off
Not a circle, not a square, not quite a cushion — a pebble. The outline is soft enough that the case has no direction to it, which is why it sits comfortably however the strap ends up twisting on the wrist.
02 — Design
Subtraction, then one thing added back
There are no hour numerals, no batons and no minute track. The face is a single flat colour with two hands over it — and then, at six, one small running seconds counter set into the surface.
That counter is the whole design. On a dial with nothing else on it, a single recessed circle reads as deliberate rather than as decoration.
At 3.4 cm the case is mid-size, large enough to carry the empty space without looking like a blank.
03 — Build
A steel case under the rose tone
The warm colour is a finish, and what sits underneath decides whether it lasts. On stainless steel it wears evenly over years. The leather is the part with a service life — straps are consumable, and this one is a standard fitting you can replace when it goes.

How do I read it without numerals?
By hand position, the same way you read a clock across a room. It takes a day to get used to and then stops being a question.
Can I get the leather wet?
Keep it dry. Water stiffens and darkens leather permanently. The strap is a standard fitting, so it can be swapped for steel or silicone if you want something that handles rain.
What is the small dial at six?
A running seconds counter. The main hands show hours and minutes, and the small hand sweeps the seconds separately.
