Steel scratches, leather stains, and the moment a watch becomes something to look after, it stops coming with you to the places where you actually need to know the time. Silicone has none of those problems, which is the entire argument for it.
02 — Design
Translucent, not opaque
A solid silicone strap reads as sports equipment. A translucent one behaves like coloured glass: the tone shifts where the material folds, deepens where it doubles over at the buckle, and lightens against skin.
The case is the same material and colour as the strap, so there is no metal edge interrupting it. The whole watch is one continuous piece of colour.

Where a cheap silicone strap fails
Two places. The buckle hole tears, because the material was cut rather than moulded around the hole. And the colour goes cloudy, because the pigment sits on the surface instead of running through.
On a translucent strap the second one is impossible to hide — you can see straight into the material, so any unevenness is visible from day one rather than appearing later.

Before you order
Can I swim in it?
The strap can, the watch cannot. At 3 ATM it handles splashes, rain and washing your hands — we do not recommend swimming or hot showers with it on.
Will the light colours discolour?
Silicone picks up marks from denim dye and cosmetics more than dark colours do. Warm water and soap removes most of it; it is worth knowing before choosing white.
Does it fit a small wrist?
Yes — the strap has multiple holes across its 23 cm length, so it adjusts from a small wrist to a large one.
