01 — The idea
Small is a choice, not a compromise
Watches have been getting bigger for twenty years. A 2 cm dial on a narrow band is the older idea — a watch that sits like jewellery on the wrist rather than sitting on top of it.
02 — Design
The bezel does the heavy lifting
On a 2 cm case there is no room for decoration on the dial, so it goes on the edge instead. The bezel is fluted — cut into fine vertical grooves that break up the light the way a plain polished ring never does.
Crystal markers sit at the hours and the hands are kept hairline thin, which is the only way a face this small stays readable.
The bracelet is 10 mm across, narrow enough that the case still reads as the widest point on the wrist.
03 — Build
Gold plating over steel, not over pot metal
The warm tone here is 18k gold plating, and what it is plated onto is what decides how long it lasts. Over stainless steel the plating wears slowly and evenly; over soft base metal it lifts at the edges within a season.

Is 2.0 cm too small to read?
The markers are crystal and the hands are hairline, which keeps contrast high on a small face. If you want a larger dial, our 3.5 cm and 4.0 cm models suit better.
Will the gold plating wear off?
Plating is a surface, so it wears with time on any watch. Over a steel body it goes evenly rather than lifting at the edges. Keep it away from perfume and cleaning products and it holds far longer.
Does the Golden version have a date?
Yes — the gold-dial version carries a date window. The black and white dials are time only.
