01 — The idea
Small bags usually collapse
Take the contents out of most small bags and they fold in on themselves. This one is built on a firm frame, so it holds its outline whether it is full or empty — which is the whole reason a structured bag looks expensive from across a room.
02 — Design
A trapeze, not a box
Seen from the side the bag tapers: wider at the base than at the opening, with the flap set back and the sides folding in behind it. That taper is why it reads as a shape rather than a rectangle with a handle stuck on top.
The finish is a fine pebbled grain in a warm caramel, which hides everyday handling far better than a smooth one would. The gold fittings are a strap and turn closure at the centre, small rings for the shoulder strap, and nothing else.
