01 — The idea
Width, without weight of ornament
A wide band is a strong shape on its own. The only question is what to do with all that surface, and the answer here is texture rather than decoration: brush the middle, polish the edges, and let the change between them do the work.
02 — Design
Brushed against polished
The centre of the band is brushed in fine parallel lines, which scatters light into a soft even glow. Either side of it, a narrow polished step runs the full circumference and throws a hard bright line.
Put those two finishes next to each other and the ring reads as three separate bands from a distance, even though it is machined from one piece.
Along one edge sits a single row of small zircon — enough to catch light at an angle without turning a plain band into a sparkly one.

Do I get one ring or two?
The maker's packing list says one ring, although the colour name mentions a two-piece set and the photographs show two bands. We have listed it as one. Message us before ordering if you were expecting a pair.
Does the plain band have stones?
The photographs show both a plain band and one with a set edge. Since the listing supplies a single ring, ask us which is currently in stock if the stones matter to you.
Which size should I take?
A wide band fits tighter than a thin one at the same nominal size. If you are between sizes or usually wear narrow rings, go up rather than down.
Is it solid gold?
No. It is brass with a gold plating. The maker describes the plating as real gold, but the body of the ring is brass and the finish is a surface layer.
