01 — The idea
A bag that follows the arm
A rectangle worn on the shoulder swings, knocks and sits at an angle. A crescent does not: the base curves the same way the side of the body does, so the bag stays tucked in and stays still. It is the oldest fix in bag design and still the most comfortable one.
02 — Design
Texture, and nothing else
The body is cut from a single sweep that rises at both ends and dips in the middle, and the strap continues that line rather than breaking it. There is no flap, no buckle and no plate on the front — the only marking is a small gold stud low on the panel.
The finish is a croc-embossed brown: a raised scale pattern pressed into the surface, graded so the scales run smaller towards the ends of the curve. That grading is the part most embossed bags get wrong — a single repeating stamp reads as wallpaper, while a graded one follows the shape.
The top closes with a zip that runs the length of the opening, with a flat gold pull that lies against the body when it is shut.
