01 — The idea
The one piece nobody plans
An anklet is not something you decide to wear in the morning — it is something that is already on when the weather turns. Which is exactly why it should be fine enough to leave on and simple enough not to need thinking about.
02 — Design
Two strands, slightly apart
The anklet is built as a pair of fine chains joined at both ends, so they sit a few millimetres apart rather than stacking. That small gap is what makes the piece visible at all on a moving ankle.
Spaced along the strands are small round discs, each cut through with an openwork pattern. Because they are pierced rather than solid they stay light and let the skin show, which keeps a double chain from looking heavy.
Everything else is plain chain. There is no pendant, no charm and nothing that hangs below the line.
03 — Fit
20 cm, plus six
Twenty centimetres is the standard adult ankle measurement, and the 6 cm extender covers everything from a close fit to a loose drape. It is a generous amount of adjustment for a piece this size, which is deliberate — ankles vary more than wrists do.

Before you order
Will 20 cm fit me?
Twenty centimetres suits most adult ankles and the 6 cm extender takes it to around 26 cm. Measure with a strip of paper if you are at either end of that range.
Is it sterling silver?
The maker describes the material as silver with an electroplated finish but does not state a purity grade such as 925, so we are not going to claim one.
Will the two strands tangle?
No. They are joined at both ends and at the clasp, so they move together rather than twisting around each other.
Can I wear it in the sea?
Better not. The finish is a plated surface and salt water is the fastest way to dull it. Rinse and dry it if it does get wet.
