01 — The idea
There are two ways to make a lens darker
You can add tint, which absorbs light inside the lens, or you can add a mirror, which turns it away at the surface before it gets in. The first makes the world dimmer. The second cuts the total brightness without taking the same amount of detail with it — which is why mirrors exist on mountains and not just in photographs.
02 — Design
Six tints and one mirror
Six of the seven are conventional tints and gradients on a gold-tone square rim. The seventh, Silver Mirror, adds a reflective layer on the outside of the lens — and it behaves differently enough to be worth understanding before you choose it.
From the outside a mirror is opaque: nobody can see your eyes at all. From the inside the view is cooler and slightly brighter than a solid dark tint of the same weight.
The frame is a square metal rim with a flat brow edge, identical across all seven.
03 — Build
The honest cost of a mirror
A mirror layer sits on the outside of the lens, which means it is the first thing a fingernail, a sleeve or a pocket zip touches. Scratches that would be invisible on a tinted lens show as bright lines on a mirrored one.
That is the trade. You get less brightness and complete privacy; you also get a surface that needs the case. Underneath, all seven carry the same polarizing filter and the same UV400 block.

04 — Versatility
Privacy is a feature, not a side effect.
A mirrored lens gives nothing away. Nobody can tell where you are looking, which is useful at a poolside, on a train, and in every photograph you would rather not be squinting in.

Seven finishes. Same price.
Grey gold and black gradient are the neutral pair. Brown and purple gradient warm the view. Light blue and blue cool it. Silver mirror is the one that hides everything.

Before you order
Should I choose the mirror?
Take it if you are often in very bright light or want your eyes hidden. Avoid it if your sunglasses live loose in a bag — the coating scratches more visibly than a tint does.
How do I clean a mirrored lens?
Rinse with water first, then use the cloth with no pressure. Never wipe a dry mirrored surface — that is exactly how the fine lines appear.
Is the mirror as protective as a dark tint?
The UV block is the same on all seven. The mirror changes how much visible light gets through, not how much ultraviolet.
