01 — The idea
One numeral is enough
Put twelve numerals on a square dial and the corners fill with clutter. Put one at the top and let slim batons handle the rest, and the shape of the case becomes the thing you actually see.
02 — Design
Two squares, one inside the other
The case is square with the corners barely softened. Inside it, a fine line traces a second square just in from the edge, and the markers sit on that line rather than floating free on the dial.
It is a small decision that changes the whole face — the printed frame gives the flat dial a depth it would not otherwise have, and it echoes the case instead of fighting it.
A Roman numeral marks twelve. Everything else is a slim baton, which is what keeps the corners open.

03 — Build
Square cases need flat glass
A round case can hide a slightly domed crystal. A square one cannot — the glass has to sit dead flat against the bezel or the edges catch the light unevenly and the whole face looks warped. That flatness is where the work goes here.
- Stainless steel case and bracelet that will not discolour
- Flat glass sitting flush to a square bezel
- Analog quartz movement — accurate and low maintenance
- Adjustable link bracelet — sized to your wrist, not a guess
04 — Versatility
Geometric, not ornamental.
There is nothing decorative here at all — no stones, no texture, no colour. Just a shape and a line. That is why it sits as easily with a suit as it does with a jumper.
05 — Colourways
Three finishes. Same price.
Silver on white is the most restrained. Rose on white warms it without changing the character. Rose on black is the one that reads as a statement — the printed frame shows hardest against a dark dial.

06 — The value
Why this makes sense
Square cases cost more to tool than round ones and are harder to finish, because every side has to be polished separately and the corners have to meet cleanly. It is why the shape is rare below a certain price.
A plain dial then leaves nowhere to hide. There is no texture or stone here to distract from a sloppy line, which is the point of buying a design this bare.
- Sold direct — you pay for the watch, not the markup
- Same price across all three finishes
- A shaped case, not a round one with decoration
- Steel build — a piece you keep, not replace

08 — Questions
Before you order
Is the bracelet metal or leather?
Metal. All three versions come on an adjustable stainless steel link bracelet, as shown in the photographs.
Is a square case comfortable?
The corners are slightly softened rather than sharp, so nothing digs in. A square does sit flatter than a round case of the same width, which most people find more comfortable rather than less.
Which dial is easiest to read?
White. The black dial looks sharper but the rose gold hands have less contrast against it in low light.

Shaped cases come in small runs
Dedicated tooling caps how many we order of a square case. When a finish sells out it is not always repeated.
Choose your finish above and add it to your bag. If it is not right on the wrist, send it back — the only thing you risk is missing it.
