The shape that holds a phone flat
Most small bags make you stand a phone on its end. This one is wider than it is tall, so a phone lies down inside it — which is the difference between a bag that takes your things and a bag you have to think about.

Woven, inside and out
The weave runs across the front, the back, the sides and the handle, and it continues on the interior panels as well. Nothing on the bag is a plain flat surface, which is what gives a pale colour enough texture to stay interesting.
The hardware is deliberately minimal against it: a single gold turn bar on the flap, and small round studs where the strap attaches. Anything more would fight the weave.
