A weave is what a pale bag needs
An off-white panel with a smooth finish is a blank surface, and it looks it. Woven, the same colour picks up a shadow line at every strip — the shade stays pale but the bag stops reading as flat, which is the whole reason to make this shape in cream.

The weave runs across the front, the back, the sides and the handle, and it continues on the interior panels as well. Nothing on the bag is a plain flat surface, which on a cream this pale is the difference between texture and blankness.
