A clutch you do not have to hold
The problem with a clutch is your hands. This one comes with a strap that clips on at 46 to 51.5 cm — so it is a crossbody for the journey and a clutch the moment you arrive, without looking like either compromise.
02 — Design
Gathered into a gold bar
The whole body is gathered into a single fluted gold bar across the top, and the pleats fan out from it — wide at the base, tight at the frame. That gather is the entire construction: there is no flap, no panel and no seam running down the front.
In faux suede the pleats each catch the light at a slightly different angle, so a single deep brown reads as a dozen shades of itself — dark in the folds, almost tan on the ridges.
The frame is ridged rather than smooth, which is the only ornament the bag carries.

Pleats cannot be cut — they have to be gathered, set and fixed into the frame one at a time, evenly spaced across the whole width, or the bag hangs lopsided and the fan looks accidental. Suede also has to be cut with the nap running the same direction on every panel, so the pleats read as depth rather than as patches of different colour.

Is this real suede?
No. The maker lists faux suede for the exterior and polyester for the lining. Faux suede is a synthetic material made to mimic the nap of suede, not an animal product.
Will the pleats flatten?
They are set into the frame rather than pressed into the surface, so they hold. Do not store anything heavy on top of the bag, and they will fall back into place on their own.
