01 — The idea
Most women's watches are men's watches, shrunk
Take a round case, reduce the diameter, narrow the bracelet, and the result is a small version of something designed for someone else. A square case on a bangle is a different starting point entirely: the bracelet came first, and the dial was set into it.
02 — Design
Why the case is square
A round case needs diameter to look deliberate. Shrink it and it starts to read as a child's watch. A square case has straight edges that run parallel to the bracelet, so it can be small and still look like a designed object rather than a reduced one.
The bangle is narrow and closes without a clasp bulge, which is what lets it sit against other bracelets without a gap.

A small dial has no margin
On a large watch a hand that sits a fraction off centre disappears. On a case this size the same error is a third of the dial. Everything — the hands, the markers, the crown alignment — has to be right, because there is no empty space to absorb it.
The crystal is scratch-resistant, which matters more here than on a larger watch: a small case sits closer to the bracelet stack next to it.

Do I need to know a wrist size?
No. The bangle is adjustable across a wide range, which is what makes this safe to buy as a gift without asking.
Can I wear it in the shower?
It carries a 3 ATM rating, so splashes, rain and washing your hands are not a problem. We do not recommend swimming or hot showers with it on.
Is a square case harder to read?
Slightly, at a glance — the corners have no markers. In practice you read a watch by hand position, which is unchanged.
