Squared Aviator
Polarized Gradient
A double-bridge metal frame with polarized lenses — the pair that actually cuts glare off a road, a windscreen or water, instead of only making the world darker.

01 — The idea
Dark is not the same as clear
Almost every pair of sunglasses sold does one thing: it lowers the brightness. That helps at noon and does nothing about the hard white flare bouncing off a wet road, a car bonnet or the surface of the sea. Those are two different problems, and only one of them is solved by a tint.
02 — Design
The aviator, squared off
The original aviator is a teardrop, and a teardrop needs a particular face to work. Squaring the lens keeps the double bridge and the thin metal rim — the things that make the shape recognisable — while giving the frame a straight lower edge that sits well on far more faces.
The bridge bar is what does the visual work here. It draws a horizontal line across the top of the frame, which balances a long face and stops the whole thing reading as a plain rectangle.
Thin metal rims, plastic temple tips behind the ear, and no branding across the front.

03 — Build
What polarized actually does
Light bouncing off a flat surface comes back organised in one direction. A polarizing filter is a grid that only lets light through the other way, so that reflected flare is removed before it reaches your eye — while everything else stays as bright as it was.
In practice: you can see through a windscreen instead of into it, read the road surface in the rain, and look into water rather than at it. That is not something a darker tint can do at any price.
- Polarized lenses with anti-glare filter
- UV400 filter — blocks 100% of UVA and UVB
- Lightweight metal frame, comfortable for long wear
- Protective case and cleaning cloth included
04 — Versatility
Built for the driver's seat.
The shape is unisex and the frame is light enough to forget, but the reason to reach for these over anything else you own is the drive home into a low sun — the one situation where an ordinary dark lens leaves you squinting anyway.
05 — Colourways
Seven finishes. Same price.
Brown and green are the easiest to live with — they warm the scene and hold contrast. Blue and mirrored are the ones people notice. All-black is the one that never has to match anything.

06 — The value
Why this makes sense
Polarization is the feature that usually moves a pair of sunglasses into a much higher price bracket — not because the filter is expensive, but because it is the line brands use to separate their premium range from their entry one.
We sell direct, so it is simply included. Seven colourways, one price, nothing held back for a more expensive version of the same frame.
- Sold direct — you pay for the frame, not the markup
- Polarized filter included, not a paid upgrade
- Case and cleaning cloth included — not sold separately
- Unisex — one frame that works for either wearer

08 — Questions
Before you order
How do I tell polarized from just dark?
Hold them in front of a phone screen and rotate them. A polarized lens goes dark at one angle and clears at another. A plain tinted lens looks the same the whole way round.
Anything I should know before driving in them?
One honest caveat: because a polarized filter works by angle, some LCD dashboards and navigation screens can look dimmer through them when your head is tilted. Everything outside the windscreen gets clearer.
Is the mirrored option protected the same way?
Yes. All seven carry the same UV400 filter. The mirror is a surface finish that changes how the lens looks from outside, not what it blocks.
Limited stock
Seven colourways, small runs each
Each finish is held in its own batch, so the one you want usually runs out before the model does. Brown and all-black go first.
Choose your colour above and add it to your bag. If they are not right on your face, send them back — the only thing you risk is missing them.
