A weave you notice by touch first
Woven leather catches the light and hands you the pattern from across a room. Faux suede does the opposite — it absorbs light, so the bands read as depth rather than shine, and on a claret this dark the weave only resolves when you are close enough to touch it.

Claret is the colour that does not shout.

Will a suede weave mark?
