01 — The idea
A rectangle turned the other way
Most rectangular watches are wider than they are tall, which makes them read as bold. Turn the proportion around and the case runs the length of the wrist instead — narrower, longer and considerably quieter.
02 — Design
Four markers and nothing else
The dial carries slim batons at the quarters and two hands. No numerals, no minute track, no date. On a tall narrow face there is genuinely no room for more, and the restraint is what makes the shape read cleanly.
Every corner of the case is softened rather than sharp, so the rectangle has no hard points to catch on a sleeve.
The mesh runs 22 mm — almost as wide as the case, which keeps the whole piece reading as one continuous line.
