01 — The idea
A circle is the most efficient shape there is
For a given outline, a curve encloses more space than a rectangle does — which is why this takes noticeably more than a square bag of the same height. At 24 × 19 × 7.5 cm it swallows a phone, a wallet and sunglasses without ever looking like it is carrying anything.
02 — Design
A circle with a bite out of it
The outline is almost a full circle, cut away at the top where the zip runs. That is what gives the bag its profile: no corners, no flat base, nothing to catch on a doorway or scuff on a chair.
The finish is a fine pebbled grain in black, and the texture matters more here than on a colour — a smooth black panel shows every fingerprint, while a grain breaks the light up and keeps the surface matt. Gold fittings are kept to the zip pull and the small rings and sliders on the strap.
The strap is thin and knotted through its anchors, which is the only detail on an otherwise completely plain front.

A round bag is the hardest outline to sew. The panels are cut on a curve and eased into each other all the way round, with no straight edge anywhere to pull the work true against — and on a plain front there is nothing to distract from a seam that has wandered even slightly.
Fitting a zip across the top of a curve is the second problem: the opening has to hold its line while the rest of the body flexes.

No. The maker lists it as undetachable, but it is adjustable across a wide range — 32 cm of drop up to 56 cm — which covers shoulder and crossbody both.
Will my phone fit?

Is this real leather?
