01 — The idea
There is a difference between set and pavé
A set bezel puts a single line of stones around the dial. Pavé covers the surface with many more, packed close enough that the metal underneath mostly disappears. It is a different amount of work entirely.
02 — Design
Coverage, not accent
The stones run across the case surface and continue onto the bracelet shoulders, so the sparkle does not stop abruptly at the lugs the way a bezel-only setting does.
A square case suits pavé better than a round one: flat planes let the stones sit in even rows, which is what produces a consistent field of light rather than scattered glints.
The dial itself is left plain. With this much on the case, anything else would be too much.

Where the 87 grams come from
This is the heaviest square case we carry, and the weight is the point: a pavé case needs more metal beneath the stones to hold every setting securely. A thinner case would look identical and lose stones within a year.

Is it too much for daytime?
Honestly, for most people yes. This is an occasion piece. If you want sparkle you can wear daily, our crystal bezel models are the better choice.
Will stones come loose?
Each is seated in its own setting rather than glued into a channel. Avoid knocking the case against hard surfaces and it will hold.
How do I clean it?
A dry soft brush across the stones. Do not soak it — 3 ATM covers splashes rather than submersion.
