01 — The idea

Do these hang down?
No. Despite the name, these are small hoops that sit against the lobe — the pearl is set inside the hoop, not suspended from it. Nothing dangles.
Are the pearls real?
No. They are imitation pearls, chosen for an even round shape and a consistent surface. Real pearls at this size vary noticeably between the two earrings of a pair.
Will the finish wear off?
Plating is a surface on any earring at this price. Put them on last when you dress, keep perfume and hairspray off them, and dry them if they get wet — that is most of the difference.
Are the measurements exact?
