A blank dial leaves nowhere to hide. Every proportion — the case curve, the hand length, the space around them — has to be right, because there is no decoration to distract from it.

A cushion case is a square with every side bowed outward. It fills the wrist like a square but sits against it like a circle — which is why the shape has outlasted both in dress watches.
The mesh band continues that softness. There are no links to create hard points, so the whole piece is curve from end to end.

You read hand position rather than markers, which most people do anyway. It takes a day to adjust and then you stop noticing.
Does mesh pull hair?
No. The weave is continuous, so there are no link gaps to pinch — the main reason people switch to mesh.
How does it adjust?
The band measures 23 cm and adjusts down to your wrist without removing links.
