01 — The idea
White leather forgives nothing, so the surface has to do the work
On a flat white panel every fingerprint, every crease and every shadow reads as a mark. Press a repeating relief into the same leather and the surface stops being a single flat plane: light breaks across the raised areas, and the small events that would otherwise stand out have somewhere to go. It is the reason this kind of pattern exists on pale bags and almost never on black ones.
02 — Design
Twenty-six by fifteen — a proportion, not a size
Long and low, with only 6 cm of depth. That shape sits along the body rather than across it, which is why it disappears under the arm in a way a squarer bag of the same volume never does.
The strap is 41 cm, which is short. Long enough to clear the shoulder, not long enough to reach the hip — the bag is meant to sit high, tucked in, where the flap stays against you and cannot be reached from behind.

03 — Build
Lambskin is the softest leather, and the most demanding
It is thinner and more supple than calf, which is why it feels the way it does — and why it needs more support behind it. The panels here are backed so the flap holds a straight edge instead of waving, and the embossing itself adds stiffness the plain hide would not have.
A magnetic flap rather than a mechanical catch. On a 6 cm bag there is no room for a lock mechanism that would not press into the contents, and a magnet opens one-handed while you are holding something else.

04 — Versatility
Take the strap off and it is a clutch
Twenty-six centimetres long and 6 cm deep is exactly the format that works in the hand. The strap detaches completely rather than tucking away, so there is no hardware left standing proud on the top edge — which is the usual giveaway on a bag sold as two things at once.
05 — What fits
Long, not deep
A large phone lies flat along the length with room beside it for a card case, keys and a lipstick. The interior zip pocket takes the things you do not want loose. That is the whole capacity, and the proportion is the reason: 26 cm of length reads as generous while 6 cm of depth keeps it honest.
Nothing bulky goes in. A folded pair of sunglasses will fit; a case for them will not.
06 — The value
Why this makes sense
Embossing a full panel is an extra process on every piece of leather in the bag, and it has to land evenly across a curve or the pattern distorts at the edges. On white lambskin the hide also has to be close to unmarked before it is even cut, because nothing can be hidden afterwards. Both costs are invisible in a photograph.

Before you order
Does white lambskin stain easily?
It is more delicate than calf leather, and the embossing helps rather than hurts — raised areas take the contact first and the recesses stay clean. Keep it away from dark denim, which transfers dye onto any pale leather.
How long is the strap exactly?
About 41 cm, fixed. That puts the bag high under the arm on the shoulder. It is not long enough to wear across the body, and it is not adjustable.
Will the embossing flatten over time?
No. It is pressed into the leather under heat rather than applied to the surface, so it is part of the hide rather than a coating that can wear off.

A pale embossed panel has to come from a section of hide with no natural marking anywhere in it, because the relief draws the eye across the whole surface. That rules out most of each skin.
