01 — The idea
Gloss is the honest finish
Grain hides things. Pebbled, brushed and embossed leathers all break up light, and small imperfections in the hide or the stitching disappear into the texture. A glossy surface reflects instead of scattering — a seam that wanders by a millimetre shows as a bent line of light, and a panel with any variation in it announces itself from across the room. It is a finish you only choose if the work underneath is clean.
02 — Design
A hook closure instead of a drawstring
Most bucket bags gather shut with a cord. This one closes with a single metal hook over the front, which means the top line stays straight rather than puckering into folds — and on a glossy leather that matters, because gathered folds in a reflective surface read as creases.
The hardware is finished in bronze rather than yellow gold. Against a gray-brown leather a warm, darkened metal sits in the same tonal family; bright gold would read as a second colour rather than a detail.

03 — Build
Suede inside, metal underneath
The lining is suede rather than textile. It does not slip, so contents stay where they are put in a bag that has one deep opening and nothing dividing it — and it will not shine through the way a synthetic lining does when you look into a pale interior.

04 — Versatility
A 6 cm handle and a 45 cm strap do different jobs
The top handle is short by design — it is there to lift the bag and to carry it for a few minutes, in the hand, the way you would carry a small basket. The strap is what you wear. Six centimetres and forty-five centimetres are not two versions of the same thing, which is why the bag has both rather than one adjustable compromise.

The part that makes a bucket bag usable
A bucket has one deep compartment. Cards, keys and a lipstick sink to the bottom and you go in after them by feel. The zip pouch is what stops that — it clips inside, holds the small things, and lifts straight out when you want them in your hand instead.
Removable rather than sewn in, which also means it works on its own for an evening when the bucket is more than you need.

Before you order
Does glossy leather scratch?
It shows a scratch more clearly than a grained leather does — that is the trade for the finish. The metal feet handle the part that matters most, which is the base. Wipe with a dry soft cloth and keep it away from keys loose in the same compartment.
Can it be worn crossbody?
At 40–45 cm the strap sits on the shoulder and just under the arm. It is adjustable within that range and removable, but it is not long enough for a true crossbody drop.
How much does it hold?
A phone, a small wallet, keys and cosmetics, with the pouch keeping the small items together. It is a compact bucket — the depth makes it feel larger than the width suggests, but it is not a day bag.
