01 — The idea
One adjustable strap is a compromise. Two carrying systems are not.
Most bags solve hand-versus-shoulder with a single strap that slides through a buckle, and it ends up slightly wrong in both positions — too long to hold, too short to wear over a coat. Short top handles do one job properly and a separate long strap does the other. The cost is a clip at each end; the benefit is that neither position is a setting.
02 — Design
Why the handles are short
Short handles hold the bag against the forearm rather than swinging from the hand. On a structured shape that is the position it was drawn for — the flat sides sit along your arm and the bag reads as part of the outfit instead of hanging off it.
Long handles would let it dangle, and a boxy bag that dangles knocks. The strap is there for when you want it off your hands entirely, and at that point it should be on your shoulder, not halfway between.

03 — Build
A boxy shape has to be built, not folded
Flat sides and square corners only stay flat and square if the panels are backed. Without that the sides bow outward the first time the bag is loaded and it turns into a soft pouch with a zip — which is the cheapest way to make something that photographs like this one.
The corners are where it shows first. On a structured bag they take the impact every time it is set down, and they are the first place a thin, unbacked panel starts to crease.

04 — Versatility
Ivory behaves like a neutral, but it is not black
It works with camel, denim, grey and everything warm, and it lifts a dark outfit in a way a black bag never can. What it will not do is disappear — an ivory bag is always the thing people notice first. That is either the reason to buy it or the reason not to, and it is worth deciding which before you do.
05 — The interior
One space, and a zip that opens all of it
The zip runs the full length of the top, so the bag opens flat rather than through a gap in the middle. On a structured shape that matters more than it sounds — rigid sides mean you cannot stretch the opening, so whatever the zip gives you is all the access there is.
Inside it is a single lined compartment. Phone, wallet, cosmetics, sunglasses and a tablet sit side by side rather than stacked, which is what the boxy depth is for.

Structure is the part of a bag nobody photographs and everybody notices after a month. Backed panels, formed corners and a zip that runs true cost more than a soft body with the same amount of leather in it — and on a pale colour the hide has to be cleaner before it is even cut.

Before you order
Can it be worn crossbody?
Yes, with the strap clipped on. Removed, the bag is carried by the two short handles in the hand or over the forearm. Those are the two positions it is built for.
Does ivory leather mark?
Any pale leather does. The most common cause is dye transfer from dark denim, not wear — so keep it off your lap on a dark pair of jeans and wipe it with a dry soft cloth rather than a damp one.
Will it stay boxy?
Yes. The panels are backed, so the shape is the same loaded, empty, and on a table. It is not a soft bag stuffed for the photographs.

Pale leather has to be cut from an unmarked section of hide, and on flat structured panels there is nowhere for a natural marking to hide. That is what caps each batch.
