01 — The idea
Handle length is the most consequential number on a large tote
It decides everything: whether the bag can go on a shoulder, how far it hangs from the body, whether it swings into your leg. 08 — Questions
Before you order
Can it go on the shoulder?
No. At a maximum drop of 19 cm the handles clear a forearm but not a shoulder. If you need a shoulder carry on a bag this size, this is the wrong one — and it is better to know from the number than to find out.
Is the pouch attached?
It is separate and loose. Use it inside the tote to keep small things together, or take it out and carry it alone.
How do I care for quilted leather?
Wipe along the quilting lines with a dry soft cloth, not across them. Skip conditioner — it collects in the stitched channels and darkens them, which makes the grid stand out rather than blend in.
