01 — The idea
A flat bag can be worn at any height. A structured one cannot.
A rigid bag high on the chest looks wrong, and low on the hip it swings. A soft, flat body has no such opinion — it lies against whatever part of you it is resting on. Which is why the forty-five centimetres of adjustment here are worth having: the bag genuinely works at the top of the range and at the bottom, and most bags do not.
02 — Design
Taller than it is wide
Twenty-nine centimetres across and thirty high is almost square, tipped slightly vertical. That proportion is unusual on a crossbody and it is what makes the bag hold a proper amount — a wide, short bag of the same area would take a phone and a wallet side by side and nothing standing up.
The perforated panel on the front is the only ornament. Cut through the leather rather than printed on it, it is what the shape is recognised by — and it costs a panel that has to be selected clean, because every opening frames the leather around it.

03 — Build
On a bag with no frame, the strap is the structure
There is no board, no base and no internal support. Everything the bag carries hangs from the two points where the strap meets the body — which is why the strap is wide rather than narrow, and why those anchor points are the part worth building properly.
A wide strap also spreads the load on the shoulder, which matters more on a long drop: at 128 cm the whole weight is hanging from a single band for the entire time the bag is worn.

08 — Questions
Before you order
Can anything fall out through the perforation?
No — the perforated area is a motif on the front panel, not an open weave, and there is leather behind it. It is decoration cut into the surface rather than holes through the bag.
Will it hold its shape?
It is a soft bag with no internal structure — it hangs flat and settles around what is inside. That is what lets it sit comfortably at any strap length, and it will not stand on a table.
Is 128 cm long enough over a coat?
Yes, comfortably. At the other end, 83 cm puts it on the shoulder at hip height. Both numbers are published so you can measure against a strap you already wear.

A perforated panel can only be cut from a section of hide with no natural marking anywhere in it, because the openings draw the eye across the whole surface. Most of each skin is unusable for it.
