01 — The idea
A deep bag on a long handle swings
Fourteen centimetres of depth puts real weight away from your body, and the longer the handle the more that weight moves as you walk. Eleven centimetres holds it in the crook of the arm, close and still. It is the measurement most brands stretch to claim shoulder carry, and stretching it is what turns a well-balanced bag into one that knocks against you.
02 — Design
Widest at the top, narrowest at the base
The body flares outward from a small structured base to a wide opening, which is the opposite of how most totes are drawn. It does two things: the bag stands upright on its own because the base is firm and compact, and the opening is wide enough to see into without the bag looking oversized from the front.
The handles are cut from the body panel rather than stitched on, so the outline runs unbroken from the base up and over the top of each handle.

03 — Build
Full-grain, which is the part worth checking
Full-grain leather is the outermost layer of the hide with the surface left intact, rather than sanded back and embossed with an artificial texture. The pebbling here is the grain the skin already had, which is why it varies slightly across a panel instead of repeating.
It is also the layer with the tightest fibre structure, so it resists scuffing better than anything cut below it — the practical reason a full-grain bag looks the same after two years of being set down on tables.

04 — Versatility
The strap is the second bag
Clipped on and adjusted, it takes the bag off your arm and onto the shoulder or across the body. Taken off, the bag is a clean tote with two small rings at the sides and nothing else. The handles were never asked to do both jobs, which is why neither is a compromise.

Nine finishes. Same price.
Black, white and navy are the three that disappear into a wardrobe. Military green and royal blue are the considered ones. Red, orange, yellow and pink are the bag being the outfit.
06 — The value
Why this makes sense
Full-grain leather cannot hide anything. A sanded and embossed hide lets a maker use skins with marks in them, because the surface is replaced; full-grain means every panel has to be selected before it is cut. Nine colourways multiplies that problem by nine, because each one needs its own matched batch.

Before you order
Will the handles go over my shoulder?
No. Eleven centimetres of handle height is hand and forearm carry, and we would rather say so than let you find out. The included strap is what makes it a shoulder or crossbody bag.
How long is the strap really?
It adjusts up to about 54 cm in total length, which puts the bag on the shoulder rather than at a long crossbody drop. Measure 54 cm against a strap you already own before ordering if the position matters to you.
Does the pebbling vary between bags?
Slightly, and deliberately. This is the hide's own grain rather than a pressed pattern, so it is not identical from panel to panel. A perfectly repeating texture is the sign of the opposite.
