01 — The idea
A shallow bag with one compartment is a shelf
Everything lies flat against everything else and the thing you want is always at the bottom of the stack. Dividing seven centimetres into two sections costs nothing in volume and changes how the bag works entirely: a phone in one, a wallet and keys in the other, and neither has to be lifted out to reach the other.
02 — Design
Polished and grained at the same time
The leather is grained for texture and then polished, which is an unusual pair of steps. The grain breaks up light so everyday marks disappear into it; the polish puts a slight sheen back on top so the surface does not read as matt. It is why the bag looks softer than a plain grained hide and tougher than a smooth one.
The clasp is a single rounded shape at the centre of the flap, in gold tone, and it is the only fitting on the front. The flap curves down over the front panel with no seam across it.

03 — Build
Both straps detach, which is rarer than it sounds
On most bags with two carry options, one of them is stitched on permanently and the other clips. Here both come off at the same rings — so the bag has three states rather than two, and the third is a flat leather piece with nothing hanging from it.
Eighteen centimetres is a short handle for the hand and the forearm. Fifty-four is a shoulder length rather than a full crossbody drop, and we would rather say that than let you find out.

04 — Versatility
Eighteen, fifty-four, or nothing
The short handle puts it under the arm where a 26 by 15 centimetre shape looks best. The long strap takes it to the shoulder. With both unclipped it is a flat clutch — and because nothing is stitched on, that last version has no leftover hardware showing anywhere on it.
05 — Colourways

Black is the one that disappears. Brown is the warm neutral that sits with tan, camel and denim. White is the one that separates from a dark outfit completely — the version to choose if the bag is meant to be seen rather than to match.
06 — The value
Why this makes sense
A divider inside a seven-centimetre bag is a full-height panel that has to be cut, finished on both faces and stitched into the gusset without pulling the sides in. It costs real time per unit and it is invisible in every photograph taken with the flap closed — which is most of them.

Before you order
Does the divider take space?
Almost none — it is a single panel down the depth. What it costs in millimetres it returns by stopping everything stacking into one pile, which on a seven-centimetre bag is the whole difference.
Is 54 cm a crossbody length?
No — at 54 cm the bag sits on the shoulder rather than across the body. Measure it against a strap you already wear if a lower position is what you are after.
How do I look after the white one?
A dry soft cloth, and keep it away from dark denim — dye transfer is what ages a pale bag rather than wear. The grain helps here: it hides the small marks that would show on a smooth white hide.
