01 — The idea
Most bags make you choose a height when you buy them
Short handles mean under the arm and nothing else. A long strap means at the hip and nothing else. Carrying both at once usually looks like a bag with a spare part attached — unless the short handle is drawn small enough to sit flat against the top when it is not being used, which is the only thing that makes the combination work.
02 — Design
The trim is where the two materials meet
The body is plain grained leather and the trim on the handle and the strap is a printed coated canvas. Putting the pattern only on the parts you hold means the bag reads as quiet from a distance and detailed up close, which is the opposite of how most two-material bags are arranged.
It is also the practical way round. Coated canvas takes handling better than leather does, so the pattern sits exactly where a bag gets gripped, and the plain leather stays on the panels that only get looked at.

03 — Build
A low bag needs a zip that runs the full length
On a wide, shallow shape the opening is the whole top. A short zip in the middle would leave you reaching blind into the ends; one that runs from end to end means the bag opens flat and everything in it is visible at once.
Inside, a textile lining with zipped compartments — which on a low bag matter more than on a deep one, because there is no depth for things to sort themselves into.

04 — Versatility
Under the arm, on the shoulder, across the body
The short handle does the first. The strap at full length does the third. Between them, shortened, it sits on the shoulder — and because the strap clips off entirely rather than tucking away, the bag has a clean version of itself for every one of the three.
05 — Colourways

Black is the one that disappears into a wardrobe and shows nothing. Grey is the one that does not read as a neutral by default — warm enough to sit with tan and camel, cool enough to work against navy.

Before you order
What does it actually hold?
A phone, a wallet, keys, sunglasses and a lipstick, comfortably. It is a low, wide bag rather than a deep one — things lie along it rather than stacking, which is why it stays flat against the body.
Does the short handle get in the way on the strap?
No. It is cut small enough to sit close against the top of the bag rather than standing proud of it, which is the whole reason both can stay on at once.
How do I clean two materials?
A dry soft cloth on the grained leather and a barely damp one on the coated canvas trim, separately. Nothing solvent-based on the canvas — it attacks the coating itself.

Two materials, matched per run
The grained leather and the printed trim have to be matched in tone for each colourway, and the pattern has to run correctly along a strap that is only a few centimetres wide. When either side of the pairing runs out, the colourway does.
