01 — The idea
The reason large sunglasses end up in your hair
It is almost never the look. It is that after two hours the bridge of your nose has a red mark on it and the weight has started to pull. Every extra gram on a big frame lands on two small points either side of your nose, and that is what ends the day early.
02 — Design
Where the weight was taken out
Coverage comes from lens area, not from frame thickness. So the lens stays oversized and the rim around it is kept as slim as the shape allows — which removes material from exactly the part that contributes nothing but grams.
The temples are thin for the same reason. On a large frame they are long, and length multiplies whatever they weigh.

03 — Build
Light is not the same as flimsy
There are two ways to make a frame lighter. You can use less material, which weakens it, or you can use a material with a better strength-to-weight ratio and keep the structure intact. The first shows up the first time you sit on them.
The lenses are polarized, so reflected flare is filtered rather than dimmed, with the full UV400 block across all seven colourways.
